Ottawa Police Seek 'Lawyers From Toronto' Who Threw Woman Through Window

Recognize them?

Ottawa police are looking for two men accused of seriously assaulting a woman in the ByWard Market last year.

On Tuesday, police posted photos of the suspects with an appeal for the public for help in identifying the two men.

Police said the two men approached a woman at a Clarence Street restaurant to talk to a woman on Oct. 17. They told her they were lawyers from the Toronto area.

The woman left the same restaurant with another person around 2:30 a.m., walking to a nearby parking lot. Police said the two women were followed by the suspects.

While the women were paying for parking, the two men grabbed one woman from behind and threw her through a nearby glass window. Once she was on the ground, the two kicked her in the head and chest until she was unconscious.

The second woman did not have any serious injuries.

The two men are described as Asian men, between the ages of 25 and 35.
