Saint Laurent is about to take over California, and they've recruited one handsome celeb kid to be their latest muse while doing so.
Dylan Lee, the 18-year-old son of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee of Mötley Crüe fame, stars in a video portrait by creative director Hedi Slimane to promote the brand's upcoming Fall 2016 presentation at the Palladium in Los Angeles, which will showcase the line's menswear collection, as well as 'part one' of the women's collection.
In the black and white clip shot in Malibu, Lee, who Saint Laurent dubs as a "surfer and guitarist," embodies all that is the Cali life. He's shirtless, seaside and youthful with his dark, shaggy hair. Strumming an acoustic guitar, Dylan's tunes play as the ad's soundtrack. The youngster shows off his muscles and gazes deeply into the camera, something we think he might have pick up from his mother's "Baywatch" days.
Usually showing during Paris Fashion Week, Saint Laurent is finally taking to California, the spot where Slimane calls home. According to Fashionista, many are speculating the decision of the brand's show to go west and documentation of homegrown muses and beach locals could be the designer's swan song for the label, where he's been for four years.
Other celeb kids who have been recruited by the French luxury line are Frances Bean Cobain (daughter of Kurt and Courtney Love), Dylan Brosnan (son of Pierce), Jack Kilmer (son of Val) and Charlie Oldman (son of Gary).
We think it's safe to say Dylan is a natural in front of the cameras, just like his mom.
