Ever wonder what goes on inside a mom’s head? Well, one Redditor found out that it’s even more than we thought.
User ‘bpwwhirl’ posted a photo to the site and wrote: “Asked my wife to draw me a picture of what is on her mind. This is her response.”
The user clearly got more than he bargained for when his wife drew an elaborate diagram of her overwhelming thought process. Thoughts included chores, sex, student debt, TV and work. And that’s just the start of it!
A good chunk of the diagram was also dedicated to the mom’s thoughts about her kids, mainly that they are both “awesome and evil at the same time.” Clearly a mom’s mind is busy 24/7.
The drawing struck a chord with many users and has been viewed over 1.7 million times. One viewer commented on the relatability of the mom’s thoughts, saying: “When I saw this and read it, I thought ‘Yup... Same here... Oh def the bra... Yeah yeah dirty house... Oh god my student debt... Oh sex! Uh huh yes!’ So damn accurate and not in full sentences either.”
Others agreed and felt that the idea of drawing what’s on your mind was a genius technique for parents. One user said: “This is a cool idea for communicating all the little things that you're thinking/worrying about that, on their own, aren't big enough to bother talking about but, altogether, add up to stress. I like it.”
