Kate Winslet Opens Up About Leonardo DiCaprio

Rose and Jack forever!

It's been almost 20 years since Kate Winslet, 40, and Leonardo DiCaprio, 41, starred together in Titanic, and the duo continue to remain close.

"He's a great friend, he always has been, and not just to me, but to everyone around him." Winslet told People magazine of DiCaprio.

The Oscar-winning actress, who has pegged DiCaprio to be this year's lead actor winner (despite him being nominated against her Steve Jobs co-star Michael Fassbender) went on to tell the publication that DiCaprio has changed in many ways over the years while still remaining the "solid" and "loyal" person she knows him to be.

"He's more handsome than he's ever been."

"He's a stronger actor in this moment than he's ever been," she explained, adding he's also grown more centered and calm.

Winslet's kind words even extended to the actor's good looks. "He's more handsome than he's ever been," she noted.

The revealing interview comes fresh off the heels of Winslet's sit down with Jimmy Kimmel in which the actress confesses that she too believes DiCaprio's "Titanic" character Jack could have fit on the door with her character Rose and thus would have lived.

“It’s been 20 years, and people still get such a kick out of it. It’s really quite endearing," Winslet told Kimmel about how fans react when they see the pair reunited.

Here's hoping the duo will reunite once again backstage at the Oscars.
