REGINA — Perhaps the Royal Family's new addition helped Charlotte become one of the top baby names in Saskatchewan for the first time last year.
It was the name Prince William and his wife Kate gave to their daughter when she was born last May and it ended up 17th in the province's Top 20.
Heading the list of girls names was Olivia, while Liam was the favourite boys name for the sixth year in a row.
Rounding out the Top 10 for girls were Emily, Emma, Ava, Avery, Sophia, Zoey, Brooklyn, Aria and Mia.
Lining up behind Liam for the boys were Noah, Benjamin, Lincoln, Lucas, William, Hudson, Wyatt, Hunter and Jack.
The province says 15,497 births were registered in Saskatchewan in 2015.
