George Clooney and his wife Amal seem to have a fantastic marriage, but according to the actor the same thing cannot be said about his proposal to the stunning civil rights lawyer.
The actor revealed to Ellen that Amal kept him waiting for what seemed like forever before she said yes.

"I plotted the whole thing out," he said of a dinner where he planned to pop the question.
"[I] had the ring hidden behind her, I had music playing," he said.
But they hadn't discussed the proposal beforehand, and Amal didn't react the way he expected.
