Lourdes 'Lola' Leon To Star In Stella McCartney's Perfume Campaign

And it's a big one.

Welcome to the POP girl gang, Lourdes Leon!

The 19-year-old daughter of legendary music star Madonna has landed her first modelling gig and it's a coveted spot on Stella McCartney's team of young spunky It girls who will front her new perfume campaign, POP.

"So happy to have Lola on the POP team!" McCartney, daughter of Sir Paul McCartney and Linda McCartney, wrote on her Instagram. "Lola, who I’ve known her entire life, is at the beginning of her career as a performance artist. She’s an independent, inspirational and free-spirited young woman. Despite being born in the spotlight, she has kept her feet firmly on the ground!"

Leon, who is currently a student at the University of Michigan, will star alongside actress and activist Amandla Stenberg, Canadian singer Grimes and Quincy Jones and Nastassja Kinski's daughter, Kenya Kinski-Jones.

“They’re all great young girls, and the exciting thing is if you don’t know who they are, you want to know who they are," the designer told WWD. "You will want to follow their careers and see them grow and hear what they have to say.

"It’s a real, very personal casting. We wanted to try and set a precedent for a new way to look at beauty, and a new way to just talk about how young women are allowed to be,”

The girl power-filled campaign, shot by Glen Luchford, is said to be based "around a road trip in the American desert, with the girls — whose images have been minimally airbrushed — dancing and playing around," according to WWD.

As for Lola, her first modelling job marks a return to the spotlight after years of keeping a relatively low profile.

“I have a lot of people judging my every move,” the daughter of Madonna told Vogue. “It’s important for me to not let it rule my life.”
