Maddie Ziegler Joins Judges Panel On 'So You Think You Can Dance'

She's all grown up!

There's no question, we all know Maddie Ziegler can dance. The real question is, can she judge other people's moves?

The 13-year-old dancer recently confirmed on the People's Choice red carpet that she is saying goodbye to the Lifetime reality series "Dance Moms" to work on "cool things," People Magazine reports. And one of those cool things is to critique fellow dancers on season 13 of the Fox series "SYTYCD."

In a press release, the network explained that Zielger would be joining veteran judges Nigel Lythgoe, Paula Abdul and Jason Derulo as they look to crown a new winner from a much younger crop of dancers.

Season 13, which premieres on May 30, is titled "The Next Generation" and will focus on dancers between the ages of eight and 13. Once the judges narrow down the young dancers to a group of 10, they will compete with "SYTYCD" all-stars for a chance at winning it all.

In addition to her new role as a "SYTYCD" judge, Ziegler is also part of a film project titled "Sisters," directed by her frequent collaborator, Sia. It will be the second film for the young starlet, currently working on “The Book of Henry” with Naomi Watts.
