Drew Barrymore just paid tribute to her two daughters in the sweetest way possible. The “Blended” star got both their names, Olive and Frankie, inked on her wrist.
On Thursday, the 41-year-old shared photos of the process and the final handwritten tattoo. “Getting a great little lifetime note on my arm,” she captioned one photo.
Barrymore tied the knot with Will Kopelman in 2012 before having her two kids. Olive is now three years old and Frankie turns two on April 22.
It’s not surprising that the 41-year-old mom would honour her kids with new ink. Besides having a number of tattoos already, Barrymore has also always made it clear that her kids come first, even before her marriage.
“I know everyone says you're supposed to put your coupledom first, but I really love it being all about the kids,” the actress told People in October 2015. “Maybe that's my compensating for not having parents myself or a childhood, but right now the focus is about how we're figuring things out as parents.”
