In the six or so years since the 'Hey Girl' meme started, Ryan Gosling has stayed silent on one of his most famous lines. That is, until now.
In a funny new video posted to YouTube, Gosling tells "Nice Guys" co-star Russell Crowe he's never even said the words "Hey Girl."
“I understand if you’re in a movie and you say, ‘You complete me,’ or ‘I’m just a girl standing in front of a guy,’ and that follows you around, and you’ve got to own that. But I never said it,” a frustrated Gosling tells Crowe.
While refraining from correcting the internet for years seems like a nice guy move to us, Gosling adds that he doesn't even consider himself a good person. “I’ve never burned a bra. I’m not a good person. I don’t even compost, man,” he exclaims in the 1:46 minute long video.
Sorry Ryan, you're keeping your nice guy status, even if this revelation broke our hearts a tiny bit.
