Calgary Comic And Entertainment Expo's Best Cosplay Of 2016

Holy costumes, Batman!
Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo

The Calgary Comic and Entertainment Expo drew over 100,000 pop culture fans to the Calgary Stampede grounds over the weekend.

Fans met their favourite stars and creators, shopped for geeky gear, and listened to panels and workshops — and, of course, showed off some pretty incredible cosplay.

Everyone from first-time cosplayers to professionals showed up in droves to strut their stuff, rocking creative costumes from their favourite movies, TV shows, comics and video games.

For those out of the loop, cosplay is a portmanteau of the words "costume" and "play." It's a chance for people to flex their creative muscles and dress up as their favourite characters with fellow nerds, instead of just at Halloween.
