Eddie Murphy Welcomes Ninth Child With Girlfriend Paige Butcher

The comedian just welcomed his ninth child.

If you thought Jamie Oliver had a lot of kids (his wife is expecting their fifth child), think again! Eddie Murphy just welcomed his ninth child on Tuesday.

The 55-year-old comedian welcomed his daughter, Izzy Oona Murphy, with longtime girlfriend Paige Butcher in Los Angeles. The baby girl weighed a healthy seven pounds, 15 ounces.

“Both mother and daughter are doing well,” a rep said in a statement.

Murphy and Butcher, 36, have been dating since 2012. While this is the first child for the couple, the actor has eight other kids from previous relationships. Besides his newborn Izzy, Murphy’s kids range from age 26 to nine years old.

Murphy had his two eldest sons – Eric, 26 and Christian, 25 – from separate relationships. He then married Nicole Mitchell Murphy and had five kids during their 13 years together: Bria, 26, Miles, 23, Shayne, 21, Zola, 16, and Bella, 14. Following his divorce from Nicole, Murphy then welcomed his youngest child, Angel, 9, with former “Spice Girl” Melanie Brown.

Here are all of Murphy’s kids below, minus his youngest children, Angel and Izzy.

Butcher’s pregnancy was confirmed in November 2015. Following the exciting news, a source told MailOnline that Murphy was ecstatic, despite having such a big family already.

“He couldn’t be happier. Eddie really is a family man and loves all of his children,” the insider said. “Even though he has eight children by four different women, they all come together on holidays and for sporting events and hang out at his mansion as one big, blended family.

“All of the children love each other dearly and the women, having all moved on with their own relationships, co-exist very well together.”

Congrats to Murphy, Butcher and their beautiful growing family!
