Kate Middleton wears designer labels to the playground, proving she's not your average mum.
Visiting the new medieval-themed Magic Garden playground at Hampton Court Palace (yes, the exact same spot where King Henry VIII used to joust) on Wednesday, the Duchess of Cambridge got to speak and play with children, including eight-year-old Olivia of St. John the Baptist Church of England Junior School, who was very excited about Middleton's stylish outfit. In fact, she said Kate "looked liked a rich lady" in her ensemble.
You got that right, Olivia!
And unlike most mums who take their little ones to the park, the 34-year-old mother of Prince George and Princess Charlotte donned a few rather expensive items, including one of her favourite royals pieces: a grey, waist-hugging $2,995 Michael Kors Collection coat, which she wore back in 2014 when attending the Anzac Day service in Australia.
This time around, Catherine paired the frock with nude L.K. Bennett heels and a beige clutch with metal trim.
As for her beauty look, the Duchess kept things simple with a '40s-inspired 'do of twisted back pieces that fell into loose curls. Kate's signature black eyeliner was on point, while her lips were kept bare and nude.
Unfortunately, Prince George and Princess Charlotte did not attend the playful event. The Duchess admitted George would have been too frightened of the 25-foot plastic dragon the school children children were playing on.
Later that afternoon, Middleton channelled her inner Grecian goddess in another recycled item from her closet, a lavender Roskanda Ilincic dress at a lunch in support of the Anna Freud Centre, a mental health facility for children where Kate is a patron.
