Alanis Morissette And James Corden Update 'Ironic' For Millennials

It's "Ironic" for the Millennials!

Remember "Ironic"? Of course you do. How could you not?

The hit Alanis Morissette tune became a global sensation — released as a single in Feb. 1996, it was featured in Morissette's 1995 album "Jagged Little Pill" — earning two Grammy nominations, a Juno award and a few MTV Video awards.

Two decades later, the Canadian rocker finally updated the song with a bit of help from "The Late Late Show" host James Corden — he of the excellent and hilarious carpool karaoke videos.

The twosome came up with a modernized version of the classic tune last November, and it's going viral again. The "new" song reflects "ironic" problems such as Netflix, Tinder, Snapchat and vaping.

Basically, it's "Ironic" for Millennials.

Alanis even pokes fun at the song, singing, "It's singing 'Ironic,' but there are no ironies / And who would've thought it figures?" hinting at the eternal debate that the lyrics don't really contain ironies.
