When you're a celebrity and basically have everything, it's always nice to hear about gifts that are somewhat basic.
George Clooney, who turned 55 on May 6, revealed he received an unusual gift from his wife Amal Clooney.
"We have a beautiful front lawn at our house in England and I used to mow lawns when I was a kid, so she bought me this giant riding lawn mower that is sitting at the house right now and I'm very excited about putting that to work when I'm home," the actor told ET Canada.
Clooney also told the site he spent his birthday "crying and drinking," while dining in the Bahamas with his wife and friends.
Last year, there was a rumour the 38-year-old human rights lawyer would gift her husband a Porsche 911 GT3 RS for his birthday, The Express notes. Turns out, Clooney received no gift at all, instead, the two spent the night partying.
The couple was also recently spotted at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival red carpet, for the actor's role in the film "Money Monster."
