Oh my gosh! How did an emoji sneak onto the 23rd annual amfAR Cinema Against AIDS gala red carpet?!
OH WAIT. That's actually Katy Perry!
If you thought the 2016 Cannes Film Festival couldn't get any hotter after days upon days of ultra glam looks, well, prepare yourselves, because the stakes just got a whole lot higher in the South of France.
The star-studded amfAR gala, a charity event held at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, took place on Thursday evening and it didn't disappoint. Among those A-list celebs in the spotlight during the festivities? Perry, of course, who was scheduled to perform.
The 31-year-old pop star, who did indeed show up with beau Orlando Bloom, gave us major emoji vibes in her red hot flamenco-inspired Marchesa number which had everyone talking.
The off-the-shoulder lace gown, which featured dramatic ruffled sleeves and train, showed off every inch of the American beauty's body as it clung to her curves. Adorned with delicate rose petals and a beautiful hemline, the dress had us singing "Senorita" by Justin Timberlake all. Night. Long.
As for her beauty look, the "Firework" songstress wore her hair in a slicked-back chignon which elegantly showed off her Harry Winston earrings. Perry also donned a smouldering red lip and her perfectly-sculpted cat-eye for the occasion.
Katy Perry — one to always take major fashion risks. That's why we love her.
