Sophie Grégoire Trudeau Continues Canadian Style Streak On Day 2 In Japan

The wife of Justin Trudeau is repping Canadian designers, yet again.

Sophie Grégoire Trudeau's Canadian style streak is going strong for day two of Justin Trudeau's visit to Japan.

On Tuesday, the Trudeaus met with the emperor and empress of Japan at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo.

Styled by friend Jessica Mulroney, Grégoire Trudeau, 40, donned a pastel pink dress by Canadian designer Jay Godfrey for the occasion. The form-fitting frock featured short, flared sleeves and a boat neckline and looked effortlessly elegant on her.

The wife of the prime minister paired her dress with beige, pointy-toed Zvelle pumps and John de Jong (JdJ) jewels — both of which are Canadian labels. Her long locks were pulled back into a chic mid-ponytail, showing off her drop earrings beautifully.
