On Thursday, new dad John Legend posted a sweet photo of his grandmother meeting his daughter, Luna Simone, for the very first time. While the image is too adorable for words, we couldn’t help but notice this family’s good genes!
We now have proof that Legend looks just like his grandma. But according to People, good genes aren’t the only thing the R&B singer got from her. Legend, who grew up in Springfield, Ohio, learned piano from her, too.
Legend and wife Chrissy Teigen welcomed their baby girl on April 14. Since then, they have been open about their new roles as parents. Teigen in particular has been very vocal on social media, often tweeting funny observations about motherhood.
Since the birth of their daughter, Legend and Teigen have also shared a number of photos of their baby girl, proving Luna got the perfect mix of good genes from both parents.
On Thursday, Teigen also shared an adorable video of their baby girl (sort of) dancing to her dad’s music.
