Johnny Depp's Former Partner Vanessa Paradis Writes Letter In His Defence

She calls Depp a "sensitive, loving and loved person."

Johnny Depp can count on plenty of people to come to his defence over, estranged wife, Amber Heard's abuse allegations.

On Sunday, TMZ obtained a letter from Depp's former partner of 14 years, Vanessa Paradis, which states her full support for the father of her two children.

The handwritten letter, which was allegedly signed by the French singer on Friday, May 27, calls Depp a "sensitive, loving and loved person."

Although she doesn't reference Heard by name, Paradis allegedly writes, "I believe with all my heart, that these recent allegations being made are outrageous."

Paradis continues: "In all these years I have known Johnny he has never been physically abusive with me and this looks nothing like the man I lived with for 14 wonderful years."

On Friday, Heard was granted a domestic abuse restraining order, with the judge ordering Depp to stay 100 yards away from his estranged wife.

Heard said in a sworn declaration that Depp threw her cellphone at her during a fight, hitting her face. The 30-year-old "The Danish Girl" actress submitted photos of her bruised face when she applied for the restraining order.

"During the entirety of our relationship, Johnny has been verbally and physically abusive to me," the documents read. "I endured excessive emotional, verbal and physical abuse from Johnny, which has included angry hostile, humiliating and threatening assaults to me whenever I questioned his authority or disagreed with him."

She adds, "Johnny has a long-held and widely-acknowledged public and private history of drug and alcohol abuse. He has a short fuse. He is often paranoid and his temper is exceptionally scary for me as it has proven many times to be physically dangerous and/or life-threatening to me."

Despite the allegations, Paradis isn't the only person who's come to the 52-year-old actor's defence. Depp's ex-wife, Lori Anne Allison, reportedly said that her ex-husband was a "soft person" who never shouted at her during their two-year marriage in the 1980s.

Meanwhile, Depp's daughter, Lily-Rose, also came to her father's aid, posting a supportive Instagram picture.

The caption says, "My dad is the sweetest most loving person I know, he's been nothing but a wonderful father to my little brother and I, and everyone who knows him would say the same."
