Waterfront Property Doesn't Come Cheap In White Rock, B.C.

And how about that ocean-side view?

There's a handful of factors when it comes to buying a home. If you've got kids, you've got to worry about school zones. If you're a dog owner, you'll want to consider how close the nearest park is. And if you're living on your own, waking up to a nice view really seals the deal.

But what all of these have in common is location. And location can be a daunting factor to settle on. That's especially true if you're making the move from Vancouver to the beachside city of White Rock, B.C.

And while you're bound to lose some of the conveniences of the big city, you can rest assured you're going to get an amazing view, says B.C. realtor Claire Godfrey

"You're only guaranteed your water view if you're on the front row and this is definitely front row. It does not get any better than this," according to Godfrey.
