Miscarriage is rarely talked about despite being a common type of loss. According to BabyCentre Canada, there’s a one in five chance of having an early miscarriage, meaning in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy. Late miscarriages can occur until approximately 24 weeks of pregnancy, but they are less common and only occur in about one in 100 pregnancies.
