A jubilant crowd at London's annual LGBT pride parade witnessed not one, but two marriage proposals involving two gay British police officers Saturday.
With his colleagues standing in rows behind him, one Metropolitan Police Service officer broke rank and approached the barricade where his partner was standing.
He got down on one knee, took his boyfriend's hand and popped the question.
In the video above, the officer's partner is seen nodding "yes" as someone nearby shoots confetti into the air.
The crowd cheered and people swarmed the first couple to take photos and videotape their reaction.
After the heartfelt moment, Met police officers stepped out of formation to shake hands with the newly engaged couple. Some were prepared with celebratory roses.
In the full video, someone cries, "That's what Pride's all about!"
But the frenzy didn't stop there. Later in the parade route, Met police stopped again so another officer could propose to his partner.
This time, a policeman turned to a fellow officer to propose. According to the Met LGBT Network, he also said "yes."
