Our home and native land turns 152 years young on July 1, and she doesn’t look a day over 100.
The federal holiday celebrates the anniversary of the 1867 enactment of the Constitution Act, which united three colonies into a single country.
Celebrations traditionally include fireworks, parades, barbecues, festivals and concerts, as well as citizenship ceremonies for new citizens.
