Bracelet Nails Are Here From South Korea And They're So Pretty

Like friendship bracelets on your nails.

Do you love friendship bracelets? Do you love manicures? If your answer is a big hell yes to both of these questions (as it should be), then you might want to get ready for what we're about to show you.

All the way from South Korea comes a nail trend that was inspired by the very dainty bracelets you and your BFFs trade on the daily to signify your girl gang status. Created by Eun Kyung Park of Unistella salon, Bracelet nails are a subtle design with "surprising details when you take a closer look."

The trend was first spotted on skincare line Peach & Lily's founder, Alicia Yoon by Byrdie in May. Yoon gushed about the nails that were indeed inspired by the bracelets you your friends wore back in the day.

"Bracelet nails are her latest thing. She was inspired by friendship bracelets and a little bit of fun," Alicia told Byride of Park's creation of the trend. "It's an interesting look because she uses real string and it looks like it's actually wrapped around your nail."

In an interview with Cosmo, Park said she would envision her arm as a nail. She loved stacking her bracelets on her forearm, so from there, the design, which is created using a few pieces of threads, was born.

And don't fret besties, like any good friendship bracelet, Park, who is also the mastermind behind both shattered glass and negative space nails, uses trinkets and jewels in her work.

"She uses rhinestones but also tiny metal charms and circles that she loops around the string which she then places on the nail using tweezers," Yoon told Byrdie.

But for all you girls out there who don't have the patience to sit through a manicure, this may not be the one for you unfortunately. Yoon says the whole process takes about two and a half hours.

Between our quilted Chanel handbag nails and errr... fur nails... we think Bracelet nails will fit in just perfectly to our beauty routine.

Now get out there and NAIL your friendship.
