“Sesame Street” has let go three of the show’s original cast members: Bob McGrath, Roscoe Orman and Emilio Delgado, also known as Bob, Gordon and Luis.

McGrath, who has played Bob for the past 45 years, spoke about the firings and the show’s changes at Supercon.
“The show has gone under a major turnaround, going from an hour to a half-hour. HBO has gotten involved also,” the 84-year-old said. “And they let all of the original cast members go, with the exception of Alan Muraoka — who is probably 20 years younger than the rest of us — and Chris Knowings, who is also young.”
