On Wednesday, actress Chloë Grace Moretz and boyfriend Brooklyn Beckham engaged in typical summer behaviour: they took a trip to the beach and snapped a few pics of their adventures.
Sounds like a regular summer day. Not too much controversy, right?
Wrong.
Moretz is now catching some flak for posting a photo of her bare upper back after she shamed reality TV star Kim Kardashian on Twitter back in March for posting a nude selfie.
The 19-year-old tweeted at Kardashian saying, "I truly hope you realize how important setting goals are for young women, teaching them we have so much more to offer than just our bodies."
The Atlanta, Georgia-native's Instagram comments went on overdrive shortly after she posted the pic, taken by Beckham.
Many responded by writing the same thing she wrote to Kim a few months prior, while others left a few harsher comments.
"Chloeee you're bad example for young girls omg," one user wrote.
"I'm so disappointed in her," another professed.
However, many of her followers came to her defence, leaving comments like "she just showed her back, not her WHOLE body," and "go away from her profile if u don't like her! you guys are so annoying."
Oh, boy.
The Kardashian clan has yet to respond.
Moretz may want to try out Instagram's latest comment-blocking feature to avoid this situation from happening in the future.
