Cebu Pacific Air Gives Baby Born Mid-Flight Best Gift EVER

The baby girl was born two months premature on Cebu Pacific Air.

A pregnant mom was not expecting to give birth during her flight from Dubai to the Philippines, but she did. And now her baby girl is reportedly being offered a lifetime of free flights from the airline, Cebu Pacific Air.

The incident was documented by fellow passenger Missy Berberabe Umandal on Facebook. “This is something you don't get to see everyday,” she wrote on Sunday. “It only happens in movies, and we're lucky to witness this miracle.”

In her post, the passenger explains that the pregnant mom began having contractions about five hours into their flight.

“She was set to give birth on October, so this came to a surprise, even to her Mother who picked her up from Dubai,” Umandal wrote. “We only heard one semi-loud screech, and a few seconds later, there were tinier, cute screeches, and it was when we knew the baby was born. Luckily, she only had to push ONCE.”

This isn’t the first time a woman has unexpectedly given birth on a flight. In April, a woman welcomed her son on a Jetstar plane en route from Singapore to Yangon, Myanmar, and named her baby boy after the airline.

And last year, a Canadian woman gave birth to a daughter on an Air Canada flight en route from Calgary to Tokyo, Japan.
