Chrissy Teigen Jokes About Her Mom Stretch Marks On Snapchat

She's our hero.

Chrissy Teigen is known for making candid remarks on social media, so it was no surprise when the new mom took to Snapchat to joke about her post-pregnancy stretch marks.

“lol my thighs have tributaries,” she captioned the snap, along with a crying emoji.

After sharing the photo on Tuesday night, Teigen’s Twitter fans praised her for showing her “human” side and for getting real about stretch marks.

This isn’t the first time the 30-year-old model has candidly posted about her stretch marks. Last year, the new mom shared an Instagram photo of her marks and “bruises from bumping kitchen drawer handles.”

Explaining the photo, she told E! News: “I was actually just taking a picture of the bruises and then I saw the stretch marks in there. I have those apps, the Facetune and Photoshopping ones, and I just didn't feel like doing it anymore—and I'm never doing it again, because I think we forgot what normal people look like now.”

Teigen welcomed her first child, Luna Simone, in April this year with husband John Legend. Since then, the 30-year-old has maintained a positive attitude towards her post-baby body.

“You just realize you have to give yourself time and understand that you push out a baby, and it took this long to put on the weight, and it's not going to peel right off, and that's OK,” she told E! News in July. “Enjoy your baby. Don't go crazy.”

Teigen’s sentiments echo that of Anne Hathaway’s, who has also made honest remarks about her post-baby body after giving birth for the first time in March.

On the “Ellen DeGeneres Show” in May, Hathaway revealed that she’s learned to love her new mom bod: “[Now] I walk in [to the gym], I’m like, ‘Yeah I work out with five pound weights, but I pushed a baby out of my body, I feel good right now.’”
