Healthy Sleep Habits: How To Adjust Your Child's Sleep Routine For Back-To-School

None of us want to deal with a sleep-deprived child.

One of the main reasons why sleep is so important is because it can be a determining factor in whether your child will be an absolute grump or not. No one wants to deal with cranky, sleep-deprived children, especially during the school season.

But getting back into the routine of waking up for school can be difficult for children to adjust to. For some, it can mean a loss of sleep. That’s why it’s a great idea to start easing your children into the habit of waking up early now.

Suddenly waking up your child an hour earlier than they’re used to can be shocking for them. So start by waking them up 10 minutes earlier each day. After a while, they’ll hardly notice the difference.

If your child has difficulty going to bed, it can often be because their brain is too stimulated. Stash the electronics and music 30 minutes prior to putting your child to sleep.

Also, white noise is great for calming down an energetic kid.
