Faith Hill’s daughter Maggie started college this week. Naturally, the country star knew the only appropriate way to send her kid off to school was with a singalong.
In an Instagram video, Hill is seen adorkably rocking out to Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” as her 18-year-old tries to hold back giggles before joining in.
The mother-daughter duo looks nearly identical in the short clip, especially thanks to their infectious smiles.
Maggie is the daughter of Hill and Tim McGraw. The couple is also parents to 19-year-old Gracie and 14-year-old Audrey..
While it’s clear that Maggie has inherited musical talent from her parents, she’s not the only one. Gracie is actually featured on her dad’s latest album Damn Country Music, where she and her dad sing the duet “Here Tonight.” And Audrey has previously performed at pre-shows for her dad’s concerts.
Clearly this is one talented family.
So far, the country superstars have not revealed where their second daughter Maggie will be attending school this year. However, during an interview with Country Countdown USA in June, McGraw spoke about his daughter’s studies.
“She’s always been interested in the ocean, so her primary interest is marine biology,” he said, adding that Maggie is a free diver.
Now that Hill and McGraw’s kids are growing up fast, the dad-of-three noted that spending time with his family is bittersweet.
“Around the house we do stay-cations where we just lock the door and watch movies. The older they get, the less time you have to do that, you have to make opportunities for that to happen,” he said. “It’s bittersweet. You look back, look at pictures, at some of the memories you have of kids growing up, places you’ve been, and realize a certain chapter is closed, but another chapter has opened up.”
