Edmonton Restaurants That Will Satisfy Your Late-Night Cravings

It's not just donair and greasy pizza.

Late-night dining doesn't have to be limited to donair or greasy pizza slices — not that there's anything wrong with those options. There are actually tons of great options for Edmontonians struck with nighttime food cravings.

Here are five of the best places for night owls to grab a bite to eat.

Table Top Cafe

Open on weekends until 2 a.m.

Board game cafes are a great alternative to the club scene for those who prefer something quieter.

Table Top has hundreds of board games to play and sandwiches, sweets and appetizers to snack on. While most board game cafes charge by the hour, this one charges a flat $5 fee to play as long as you want.

All Happy Family

Open on weekends until 4 a.m.

It might look unassuming from the outside, but this Cantonese restaurant will hit the spot if you find yourself with a congee craving after your favourite bar closes for the evening. Plus, the low prices are a steal.

The Common

Open on weekends until 2 a.m.

The Common constantly makes Edmonton's best restaurant lists and for good reason. This hip hop lounge plays great music, but the one thing really worth paying attention to is the chicken and waffle dish. It has goat cheese butter. 'Nuff said.

Izakaya Tomo

Open on weekends until 2 a.m.

Speaking of waffles, Izakaya Tomo's mochi version is a total crowd-pleaser. This bar has a ton of delicious small plates from sushi to teppanyaki that are great for sharing.

Chili Hot Pot

Open on weekends until 2 a.m.

There's nothing that can beat hot pot on a cold night. Prices drop at this hot pot hot spot (sorry) after 9 p.m., and customers aren’t charged for what they can't finish.
