Keith Urban Pulls 14-Year-Old Fan On Stage To Perform

She also wowed 20,000 country fans.

An Alberta teen's dream came true Friday when she got the chance to perform in front of 20,000 country music fans.

Keith Urban was playing Edmonton's Rogers Place Arena when he spotted 14-year-old Hailey Benedict and her 12-year-old sister Makenna holding shiny guitar-shaped signs in the audience.

He called them up on stage and he asked both girls what they wanted to be when they grow up.

When Hailey said she wanted to be a singer-songwriter, Urban gave her a chance to show off her skills.

What Urban didn't realize is that the teen is already an accomplished performer, having won dozens of awards for her original songs.

The St. Albert girl took Urban's guitar, and proceeded to blow the crowd away with a rendition of her original song "Clean Slate."

"Never, ever in my wildest dreams would I have ever expected this to happen," Benedict wrote on her Instagram page.

"Last night was the very best night of my life."
