8-Year-Old Put Dead Squirrel In Backpack For Cutest Reason

They say kids say (and do) the darndest things -- and one 8-year-old boy named Brylan is no exception.

Mom Ladye Hobson got a call from her son's school recently, with the principal on the other end, telling Hobson that her kid had a dead squirrel in his backpack.

So what was Brylan's reason for carrying the deceased animal around? He took his dad a little too seriously when he said he would cook him squirrel dumplings for dinner.
