Netflix Canada: What's Good In November 2016?

"Gilmore Girls" fans, it's almost time.

Fans of "Gilmore Girls," rejoice.

The show's modern reincarnation, "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life," will hit Netflix Canada on Nov. 25. Lorelai and Rory will return in four new 90-minute chapters, each set in a different season in Stars Hallow.

Another hotly-anticipated show is also coming to the streaming service in November. "The Crown," a Netflix original, arrives on Nov. 4. The 10-part series, which follows the reign of Queen Elizabeth II, is said to be Netflix's most expensive yet, reportedly costing the company more than $100 million.

Movies:

"Inherent Vice"

Joaquin Phoenix plays a private investigator who's on a mission to crack open a case revolving around a former girlfriend's disappearance. Also, drugs.

"Jimi Hendrix: Voodoo Child"

This documentary explores the rock god's life through his own writings as well as recorded interviews he's done.

"Eddie the Eagle"

Prepare to feel good. Really good. Dexter Fletcher's film tells the inspirational story of Michael "Eddie" Edwards, an underdog ski jumper with Olympic aspirations.

TV:

"The Crown" - Season 1

This Netflix original explores the reign of Queen Elizabeth II, starting from before she became Queen. The show, which reportedly had a budget of more than $100 million, tells the inside story of the Royal Family's internal struggles. Also, John Lithgow plays Winston Churchill, so this better be good.

"Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life"

If you've managed to somehow not hear about this, the show returns with four new chapters on Netflix on Nov. 25. Every installment is set in a different season and will follow Rory and Lorelai as they try to figure out this thing called life.

"Lovesick" - Season 2

"Lovesick" follows the journey of a man who gets diagnosed with an STD and then proceeds to notify every sexual partner he's ever had. The show used to be called "Scrotal Recall," but Netflix changed the name because, uh, it was called "Scrotal Recall."
