According to the news site, the pair met in May when the prince launched the countdown for the 2017 Invictus Games in Toronto. Markle, an American who films her show in Ontario's capital, has since made several trips to U.K. and even posted a photo outside of Buckingham Palace on her Instagram feed.

Prior to meeting the prince, Markle was married to film producer Trevor Engelson whom she separated from in 2013. Following that relationship the actress dated top chef and restaurateur Cory Vitiello. Harry was most recently linked to singer Ellie Goulding and previously dated Cressida Bonas and longterm girlfriend, Chelsy Davy.

Earlier this year, Harry spoke openly about the anxiety he experiences when talking to women. "If I talk to a girl, that person is then suddenly my wife, and people go knocking on her door," he explained.

In May, the prince went told the Sunday Times, “If or when I do find a girlfriend, I will do my utmost... to ensure that me and her can get to the point where we’re actually comfortable with each other before the massive invasion that is inevitably going to happen into her privacy.”
