Couple Embraces On The Floor At Javits Center, Perfectly Captures How Clinton's Supporters Feel

Sigh.

Hillary Clinton supporters across the U.S. all shared a similar sentiment on late Tuesday night when it became clear Republican nominee Donald Trump would become the next president.

And one couple's embrace on the floor of the Javits Center in New York City, where Clinton's rally was being held, summed it all up.

The photo, which was posted early Wednesday morning by Los Angeles Times reporter Chris Megerian, shows a couple clutching each other, clearly distraught, as the election results roll in.

Several (we're assuming) Trump supporters replied to the tweet, stating, "Someone wake them up & let them know @HillaryClinton isn't coming," and "I hope you kicked them and told them to get a room," among other disparaging comments.

Clinton is expected to give her concession speech at 10:30 a.m. EST on Wednesday in Manhattan, according to the LA Times.
