How To Save Christmas When You Can't Find A Hatchimal

Parenting expert Alyson Schafer offers a few great suggestions.

Hatchimals are the “it” toy of 2016, but unfortunately for parents that means they’re already sold out everywhere. If you weren’t able to get your hands on one of these, parenting expert Alyson Schafer has a few suggestions on how you can save Christmas.

One of her solutions is to leave your child a promissory note on Christmas morning. “There needs to be a promising note that says, ‘Your Hatchimal has not been laid yet, but it’s coming. And as soon as the next batch is born, we will get your order to you!’” Schafer explains in the video above.

On social media, parents have already shared a few different versions of this note.

And some are even letting their Elf on the Shelf present them to their kids.
