The name of Mick Jagger’s baby boy has finally been revealed, and it turns out, it’s full of meaning.
“I'm so love with my baby Deveraux Jagger,” the singer’s girlfriend, ballerina Melanie Hamrick, announced on Instagram on Friday. “Thank you @lizzyjagger for the sweet introduction.”
Jagger’s daughter, Elizabeth, previously shared the first photo of the Rolling Stones frontman’s eighth child. In her Instagram post, she revealed the baby boy’s full name: Deveraux Octavian Basil Jagger.
According to E! News, the name is full of meaning as Octavian means “born eighth” in Latin and Basil was Jagger’s late father’s first name.
The 73-year-old singer and his girlfriend welcomed Deveraux in New York on Dec. 8.
