Grammys 2017: The Best And Wackiest Dressed Stars On The Red Carpet

What a night.

Taking to the 2017 Grammys stage in a lavender Ralph & Russo haute couture gown, Jennifer Lopez said the night belonged to music rather than fashion.

"This night is not about the dresses or the awards," she said.

And it's true. The Grammys are a celebration of the music industry's hottest hitmakers. But when the stars are wearing an array of memorable looks on the red carpet, it's hard for us not to pick the outfits that left us breathless and the ones that had us saying "WTF."

So who dominated the red carpet and who failed to impress? Check out the best and wackiest dressed stars at the 2017 Grammys below!

Sorry, bare with us. We're still freaking out over Céline's gown. It's too stunning for words. But we'll try to talk about it: first, that low-plunging neckline is sultry and daring. Second, that emerald bow with diamonds is a gorgeous detail. And third, that thigh-high slit is everything. Yup, Dion just did Canada proud on the red carpet. Rock it, girl.

Lets be real: JLo defined Grammys red carpet fashion (come on, you remember that 2000 Versace dress) and she lived up to the title this year in this intricate lavender Ralph & Russo gown with a giant neck bow and high slit. We're obsessed.

Did Jason Derulo not get the memo that the Grammys are held in scorching hot Los Angeles? Is he not burning up? We're calling the look extra.
HUH: CeeLo Green

CeeLo Green -- with your Gnarly Davidson persona -- what is going on here? We can't decided if you look more like C-3PO from "Star Wars" or Ferrero Rocher. Whatever the case may be, we're freaked out.
YAS: Paris Jackson in Balmain

Stunning, gorgeous, lovely, classy, beautiful — all the words to describe Paris Jackson's Grammys look. The daughter of Michael Jackson wore a stunning Balmain jumpsuit with leg slits and side cut outs. But for us, it was the 18-year-old's Madonna-esque beauty look, with the texture blond hair and nude lip, that had us in total awe.
YAS: Adele in Givenchy

Hello, Adele. You are stunning. This emerald Givenchy haute couture gown by Riccardo Tisci is the perfect colour to match your golden blond locks and bronzed cheeks. We particularly love the dresses' intricate beading and pattern.
YAS: Lady Gaga

OK, hear us out: This Lady Gaga outfit is scandalous. But she pulls it off. And of course, it's an ode to Metallica (who she performed with). So for that, you can't have too much leather and spikes, right?
HUH: Joy Villa in ???

Can't read what Joy Villa's dress says? Let us help: it says "Make American Great Again." And "Trump" on the train. We have no words.
YAS: Rihanna in Armani Privé

Fashionably late? No worries, Rihanna still slays. We all know orange and black are hard colours to pull off together (hey, Halloween), but Bad Gal RiRi does it. And we think this halter top matched with the eccentric princess skirt is an ode to Rihanna's 2015 look. Perfection.
HUH: Girl Crush

Girl Crush looks like a child's birthday party. And that's all we'll say.
YAS: Laverne Cox in Bryan Hearns

REVEALING and oh-so-chic. In a fitted leather number, Laverne Cox risked it all to rocked this off-the-shoulder dress with open side panels, and she pulled off with this ensemble beautifully. That high ponytail and dark smoky eye complete the look. So. Effortless.
HUH: Lea Michele in Roberto Cavalli

Look it's not the outfit we have a problem with (the beading is stunning and we love the show of skin), it's the beauty look. The blush eye shadow circling the entire nude eye is too much. And that soft pink lip doesn't work either. And don't even get us started on that heavy contour. Not good.
HUH: Jacqueline Van Bierk

We mean, the Grammys are a celebration of music, but this is too much. Especially with those gloves. Besides, do millennials even know what CDs are?
YAS: Camila Cabello in Miri Couture

Getting her fairy tale start after leaving Fifth Harmony, Camila Cabello hit the Grammys red carpet solo looking like a Disney princess. We adore her diamond choker that works oh-so-beautifully with the gown's purple details.
HUH: Katy Perry in Tom Ford

What we love about this look is Katy's new blond textured do. But that feather pink skirt with the oversized metallic sweater? Not flattering.
