We’ve seen our fair share of “Wheel of Fortune” fails, but none have made us facepalm quite as hard as this.
On Tuesday, a contestant named Kevin was one letter away from solving an obvious puzzle. Under the category title, the screen read “A Streetcar Na_ed Desire,” referring to the name of the famous play by Tennessee Williams.
Despite having obvious clues, Kevin decided to go with the letter “K” instead of “M” to solve the puzzle. His guess was then met with awkward silence before host Pat Sajak finally said, “No.”
AHHHHAHAHAHAHA THIS REALLY JUST HAPPENED! 😂😂😂😂😂 pic.twitter.com/qcD8ybCwyB— actually, a dad (@weedsocialist) March 21, 2017
After another contestant, Lisa, won the round, Sajak joked: “Although you got the right answer, I'd rather see Kevin's play. But that's just me.”
On Twitter, viewers exploded with laughter.

One even joked that “A Street Car Naked Desire” must be an adaptation.
To be fair, A Street Car Naked Desire is the porn adaptation of Street Car— Harmon Dash (@dashingharmon) March 22, 2017
Wheel of Fortune
But others simply couldn’t believe the contestant’s horrible flub.
Dude on Wheel of Fortune had to solve this:— David Aldridge (@daldridgetnt) March 21, 2017
A STREETCAR NA_ED DESIRE
He asked for a K.
I’m gonna go lie down.
Surprisingly, this wasn’t Kevin’s only flub of the night. In a later puzzle, the screen read “Sticky _icket.” Instead of solving the crossword with the letter “T,” the contestant asked for a “P.”
OMFG IT HAPPENED AGAIN STOP THIS MAN HE IS TRYING TO KILL ME 💀💀💀💀💀 pic.twitter.com/DkBLUh97uX— actually, a dad (@weedsocialist) March 21, 2017
Again, Twitter couldn’t believe it.
@weedsocialist To be fair, that's a bit more obscure & outdated than Streetcar, but still, LOL.— Sam Itches (@HipMrBully) March 21, 2017
Better luck next time, Kevin!
