Hugh Grant Dancing To 'Hotline Bling' In 'Love Actually' Sequel Is Awkwardly Amazing

There's no classic like an old classic.

There has been plenty to enjoy from the "Love Actually" mini-sequel that premiered March 24 in the U.K. in honour of Red Nose Day. (The American incarnation will be held May 25.)

But perhaps our favourite scene that we've glimpsed has to be two minutes of Hugh Grant dancing, in a wonderful homage to arguably the best part of the first film.

Let's revisit, for a moment, the scene from the original movie on which this is based, and allow the joy to flow through you once again:

That's right. This is a truly great moment in cinema.

And now we'll fast forward the clock 14 years to witness Grant doing his best to stay cool and relevant, and dancing to none other than Drake's "Hotline Bling":

Look, those of us who love "Love Actually" know we're being pandered to here. We get the ridiculous proposition of wanting Hugh Grant to be the exact same as he was at the beginning of the millennium, shaking his tush to the Pointer Sisters instead of deteriorating into a middle-aged white man attempting to dance to hip hop.

But the thing is, we don't care. We'll take this incarnation of Grant (and yes, likely all the other associated actors too) and giggle over its ridiculousness while admiring his stamina.

Because, if you can't love a cheesy sequel when it's being done for an excellent charitable cause and bringing tons of old memories flooding back, when can you, eh?
