Kate Middleton Nails The Princess Look In Green Lace Dress

Girl knows how to rock an evening dress.

Now that's how you pull off the princess look.

To round out the stunning evening look, the mum-of-two accessorized with a $242 gold clutch from Wilbur and Gussie, a pair of $6,652 Kiki McDonough ruby and citrine drop earrings, and gold Jimmy Choo sandals — on top of our favourite royal accessory: her sapphire-and-diamond engagement ring.

Naturally, the Duchess of Cambridge's beauty look was on-point, with her signature blowout and a smoky eye.

At the gallery, Kate received a personal tour of new artwork by artists such as Gillian Wearing, Grayson Perry and Juergen Teller, which were commissioned for the gala.

She also met a different sort of royalty in the form of fashion star Alexa Chung, who sported a daring, polka-dot off-the-shoulder dress.

The Duchess, who has been a patron of the National Portrait Gallery since 2012, was featured in the exhibition "Vogue 100: A Century of Style" last year to celebrate British Vogue's 100th anniversary, and was shot for the cover of the magazine's centenary issue.

The collector's edition issue featured seven photos of the 35-year-old duchess, taken by British photographer, Josh Olins. Two of those photos were on display at the Vogue exhibition.
