Not so long ago, many Toronto parents were involved in a debate over whether or not children should be allowed in restaurants. While the argument focused on nicer establishments, there were some who argued that kids shouldn't be eating out at all — and to them we say, check out this list.
To counter the potentially stressful situation of keeping your child's behaviour under control at all times, not to mention the issue of figuring out what to order for them, we decided to find the restaurants that not only accommodate kids, but actually welcome them.
We have looked at child-friendly restaurants in Toronto in the past, and while many of them are awesome about providing crayons and menus and change tables and the like, the ones we discovered this time step it up another notch and become full-on family destinations.
And a note to any of those who might, say, want to avoid such places because of the presence of children: remember, kids eat at 6, maybe 7 p.m. at the latest. The night is all yours.
