Alana spent 15 years of her life as a successful television, radio and print reporter. She has lived in 6 different cities and led top newsrooms across the country. She has held almost every position: Radio talk show host, Writer for the six o’clock news, Assignment editor, Field producer, Talk show producer, Celebrity Producer, Exclusives Producer and much more.

Alana is also a certified yoga and pilates teacher. For the past decade, she has taught numerous celebrities, corporate clients and professional athletes. She has trained with some of the top teachers in: California, Hawaii, Toronto and Calgary.

After suffering a serious concussion, Alana chose to leave the high stress world of network television in 2011 to launch her own company. Hotel Yoga and Fitness Inc. (www.hotelyoga.ca) was built out of Alana's love of fitness, television and travel.
