Alden E. Habacon is an accomplished diversity and inclusion specialist, public intellectual, consultant and speaker in the area of multiculturalism in Canada, and diversity in media and the workplace. He coined “Multiculturalism 2.0” in 2007 and currently speaks on “Multiculturalism 3.0”.

In 2010, Alden was appointed Director, Intercultural Understanding Strategy Development for the University of British Columbia (UBC).

Between 2004 and 2010, he was the Manager of Diversity Initiatives for CBC Television. He has also been publishing Schema Magazine (SchemaMag.ca) since 2004, and is the co-founder of the Asian Canadian Journalists Association (ACJA) of Vancouver.
