Alison Kemper
Alison Kemper is an assistant professor of management at York University and has worked with the Michael Lee-Chin Institute for Corporate Citizenship at the Rotman School since 2005. Her professional background is in advocacy and NGO management.

Alison researches the behaviour of companies under pressure from activists, the creation of "markets for virtue", and the incentives that will allow businesses to achieve sustainable operations.

She earned her B.A. in Religious Studies from Yale College, her M.Div. and M.Th. in History from Trinity College, University of Toronto, and her M.B.A. and Ph.D. in Strategic Management from the Rotman School.
