Andrew Murphy is the new Director of Programming at Toronto's Inside Out LGBT Film Festival. Previously, he spend 12 years as Programming Manager for the Atlantic Film Festival and ViewFinders: International Film Festival for Youth in Halifax, focusing on galas, special presentations and niche programming. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from Saint Mary’s and a Bachelor of Journalism from the University of Kings College.

May 17th marks the 10th annual campaign for the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia. Incidentally, it also marks the beginning of the 22nd annual Inside Out Toronto LGBT Film Festival.
