The Most Memorable TV Moments Of 2016

Twenty sixteen was a year of collective loss and sorrow. A year that spanked us. A year when the news made the news. And so it is fitting that many of my most memorable TV moments came straight from newscasts. Yes, we're tired of hearing about Trump. But alas, we don't get to fast-forward through his presidency.

The Most Memorable TV Moments Of 2015

The aftermath of some of these ailments gave way to memorable television moments. Here, some of my most noteworthy television moments for 2015.

Why Barbara Walters Matters

On May 16, Barbara Walters will retire. You don't have to love Walters as much as I do. But if you love television, you must recognize her contribution. Israel and Haiti: More Than Their Politics

When I tell people how much I love to vacation in Haiti, many look at me like I'm a crackhead. It's not unlike the reaction I got when my producing partner and I decided to produce a whole TV series on Israel. For too long, people have tried to oversimplify the complexities of both Haitian and Israeli politics. I'm not equipped to fully assess these complexities but I know this for sure: people are not their governments.

The PR Industry Needs Better PR

Public Relations is a misunderstood profession -- it's not all Samantha Jones. In a recent article entitled "How to Apply PR Skills at Networking Events," the article's author writes: "The best female publicists know how and when to reveal a bra strap." No, moron. The best publicists know how and when to get their clients' names out there.
