is a documentary photographer and early childhood educator based in Toronto. Founder of #ShootForPeace, a photography initiative for youth from disadvantaged neighbourhoods.
is an early childhood educator and a photographer who specializes in evocative images of the living world. Raised in Regent Park, as the city began to tear his community down & apart he felt the urge to document everyday life in his changing neighbourhood. Moving on to his first DSLR only enhanced his ability to capture emotion & depth. He has worked with companies such as Adidas, Facebook and VICE. The artist recently came back from Africa where he was shooting stills for a Humanitarian organization (Pious Projects) in Mali and Ethiopia. The most special thing to Yasin is #ShootForPeace, a photography program he started in the fall of 2015 for children in the Regent Park community. Currently the artist is working on a photography project that solely focuses on the Regent Park community in Toronto.
