Un gouvernement démocratique qui s'engage à faire preuve d'ouverture et de transparence doit s'assurer que nos ressources naturelles soient exploitées - ou pas - en maximisant les bénéfices tout en minimisant les risques pour sa population. Pour ce faire, il doit demeurer à l'écoute et des experts, de la communauté et des organismes qui les représentent, peu importe que leurs principales préoccupations soient d'ordre environnemental ou financier.

Many of the 1,200 known species of bats are in trouble. And we humans deserve much of the blame. A bat can eat more than 1,000 insects in an hour, and without the services of bats, the agave plant, from which we get tequila, might not survive. So, if you like tequila but not mosquito bites, you should view bats as your friends.
